We are honored to introduce Mr. Van Duc Phu - Official, Northern Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center, Foreign Investment Agency – Ministry of Finance, Vietnam, a seasoned professional in Vietnam’s foreign direct investment (FDI) promotion ecosystem, with more than 15 years of experience supporting international investors and advancing Vietnam’s investment environment.
Currently serving at the Northern Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center under the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Phu plays an important role in connecting global investors with opportunities across Vietnam’s rapidly developing economy. His work focuses on facilitating investment promotion initiatives, strengthening cooperation between government agencies and international partners, and helping investors navigate Vietnam’s dynamic policy landscape.
With a strong understanding of Vietnam’s Investment Law, regulatory frameworks, and evolving policy environment, Mr. Phu has been closely involved in advising and supporting investment strategies aligned with Vietnam’s national development priorities. These include attracting high-quality, high-tech, and environmentally sustainable projects, while also staying abreast of emerging policy developments such as the Global Minimum Tax, International Financial Centers, and Free Trade Zone initiatives.
Beyond policy expertise, Mr. Phu has cultivated an extensive professional network spanning central ministries, provincial authorities, industrial park and economic zone management boards, investment promotion agencies, and international business communities. Through this network, he supports investors from the early stages of market entry—such as location selection and regulatory procedures—to addressing operational and legal considerations during project implementation.
He is also actively involved in organizing investment promotion missions, international delegations, and communication initiatives, contributing to the ongoing effort to position Vietnam as a competitive, transparent, and attractive destination for global investment.
