We are proud to feature Mr. Michael Wekezer, a highly experienced legal and advisory professional who has been supporting German and European businesses across Asia for over a decade.

Currently serving as Country Manager of Rödl & Partner Vietnam, Michael plays a key role in advising companies on market entry, legal structuring, and business operations in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic investment destinations. His career spans leadership roles in Vietnam, Malaysia, and India, giving him a strong cross-market perspective on how international businesses can successfully expand in the region.

Before transitioning into Asia, Michael spent nine years as a commercial lawyer in the United Kingdom, building a solid legal foundation. He is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Vietnam, and is also qualified in Germany and England & Wales—a rare combination that enables him to bridge different legal systems and provide practical, internationally aligned advice to clients.

Beyond his professional role, Michael has been actively engaged with the German Business Association (GBA) and the broader FDI community in Vietnam. Over the years, he has built a strong network connecting international investors, Vietnamese enterprises, and government stakeholders, positioning him as a trusted advisor and connector within the ecosystem.

With a clear commitment to supporting business growth, especially in the services sector, Michael continues to contribute to strengthening collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and long-term partnerships within the international business community in Vietnam.
