We are proud to feature Mr. Michael Chiu, a long-standing and highly respected leader within the Hong Kong and international business community in Vietnam, whose contributions have helped shape stronger economic ties between Hong Kong and Vietnam over the past two decades.

With multiple terms serving as Chairman of the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam (HKBAV)—from 2004–2009 and 2014–2025—Michael has played a pivotal role in building a vibrant, well-connected business network. His leadership has consistently focused on strengthening collaboration, supporting member companies, and promoting bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

His impact extends beyond the business community. In 2008, he was honored as one of the Olympic Torchbearers in Ho Chi Minh City, representing Hong Kong enterprises in Vietnam—an achievement that reflects both his personal dedication and his broader role as a bridge between cultures and economies.

Alongside his community leadership, Michael is the Managing Director of AppliancZ Vietnam JSC, where he leads the delivery of integrated building solutions, including air-conditioning systems, BMS, fire safety, security systems, and smart infrastructure technologies—serving a wide range of industrial and commercial projects.

He has also contributed at a global level as Honorary Secretary of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, further reinforcing his role in connecting international business communities.
