We are proud to feature Mr. André de Jong, a seasoned international executive whose career reflects nearly three decades of leadership within Bosch and a deep, long-term commitment to Southeast Asia’s business landscape.

With over 15 years of living and working across ASEAN, including Vietnam and Cambodia, André brings a rare combination of global industrial expertise and strong regional insight. Since November 2024, he has taken on the role of Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam, where he continues to drive growth, innovation, and strategic positioning for one of the world’s leading technology and engineering companies.

Within Bosch, André has held key roles across six countries, most notably leading initiatives in two-wheeler components and electrification for the ASEAN region since 2018—areas that are critical to the future of mobility and sustainable industrial development.

Beyond his corporate leadership, André is widely recognized as a dedicated contributor to the European business community in Southeast Asia. His past and current engagements include:

• Board Member of EuroCham Vietnam

• Former Board Member of the German Business Association (GBA) Vietnam

• Co-founder and Board Member of the German Myanmar Business Association

• Board Member and Treasurer of EuroCham Cambodia

• Chairman of the Real Estate & Construction Working Group (RECC) in Cambodia

Through these roles, he has actively supported policy advocacy, business dialogue, and cross-border collaboration, helping European companies navigate and grow in dynamic emerging markets.

With a strong track record, a collaborative mindset, and a clear commitment to long-term engagement in Vietnam, André continues to play a key role in strengthening ties between German, European, and Vietnamese business communities.
