We are honored to feature Mr. Alain Cany, one of the most respected and influential figures in the international business community in Vietnam, with a career spanning over four decades across Europe and Asia.
Mr. Cany began his journey in the banking sector with Crédit Commercial de France, before taking on senior leadership roles in Hong Kong and later joining HSBC, where he served as President and CEO of HSBC Vietnam (2003–2007). His leadership played a key role in strengthening Vietnam’s financial sector during a critical phase of international integration.
Following his banking career, Mr. Cany continued to shape Vietnam’s economic landscape through strategic roles such as:
